A Ghast is a stronger version of the Ghoul. Although they look like their lesser kin, they are much more cunning and far more deadly. Those hit by a Ghast's claw or bite must succeed at a Fortitude save (DC 15) or be paralyzed for 1d6+4 minutes. Even Elves are vulnerable to this paralysis.
