Description:
Lizardfolk are primitive humanoids that can be very dangerous when provoked. They are 6 to 7 feet tall. They are omnivores, but prefer to eat meat, particularly human flesh. Some more advanced tribes build huts and use weapons and shields. Lizardfolk fight as unorganized individuals. If their territory is being invaded, they set snares, plan ambushes, and make raids to hinder enemy supplies.
Half-Illithid Lizardfolk, called tzakandi in the illithid tongue, are used as slave laborers and personal guards in some illithid communities. Their appearance contains aspects of both the illithid and the host; no two of them look exactly the same. Half-illithid lizardfolk are prized among their illithid masters for their vicious ferocity. Intelligent enough to put their psionic powers to best use, tzakandi generally work in pairs, one member using mind-blast on enemy spellcasters while the other wades into melee and physically protects its partner.
